Alpha Course

Alpha @ MBC is a course which provide a forum open to anyone  who would like meet with others to  explore Christianity, and think about whether it answers their questions about life and its meaning. It’s a place where people can come and relax, eat, share thoughts and explore the Christian Faith. The series lasts for about twelve weeks, with a day away in the middle. Alpha is based around small groups with hosts who will welcome you, help you to feel comfortable and lead the discussion. Each gathering lasts around two hours and begins with some food, then a short video talk looking at a different aspect of the Christian Faith. This is followed by a time of discussion, when guests can explore their questions and contribute their opinions.
Guests come to Alpha for many different reasons; some want to investigate whether God exists and some have questions they’d like to discuss. Many guests have never been to church and others may have attended church but feel they have never had a personal understanding of the Christian faith. Anyone is welcome – those with a Faith,  no Faith or only a little Faith. If you want to discuss and debate in a relaxed ‘no strings attached’ environment, but with mutual respect, Alpha is for you.
Some Alpha groups are arranged on an evening; others during the day. Some are held at Church; others in a home. Why not contact Jeremy Bottrill and see if there is a group which suits you?
